I really can not believe 2007 is almost gone. It flew by faster than I care to realize this year. I found this site by way of Dooce, aka Heather Armstrong. If it had not been for her honest, forthright, intellegent blogging I don't know that we (da family) could have made it without killing each other. I just became an Aunt lastnight for the 15th time and have 3 more due up by April! So I guess it is time to dust of the laurels I've been sitting in and get busy. I could use any new and creati…

I stumbled across this site and automatically thought it was awesome! I'm glad there is something like this.
However... i don't know what to put up. I sew things here and there, and i do basic crochet, and i do leatherwork, but I don't know what types of crafts to put up. I will think of things. I have a purse or two that haven't found homes for yet. They look lonely, and I'd like for people to enjoy them instead of sitting in my closet in sealed bags, lol.

Hello!
This is my first post. I am excited about this site. I love the idea behind it. I sure hope it grows and grows in size.
Ok, I am not sure just how you know what people want to trade. I am guessing that it's the pictures that they post. If, so great. I'll get started in uploading some more here soon.
I am a craft junkie that needs to slow down a little (and start working out more.) I'll never stop making things though. I do most of my crafts with my children and the…

I don't have any photos up yet but just wanted to write
out what I have up for trade...
Hot/cold rice packs for sore muscles and achy joints. They are made in various
sizes and can be microwaved 1-3 minutes for a heating pad or placed in the
freezer overnight for a cold pack. You can choose from unscented, lavender,
eucalyptus/ rosemary, or a grapefruit scent.
As Leah would say "Let's Trade!"

This weather is not good for crafting. The special spray paint I bought says, " Ideal Conditions: Well ventilated area, 50 - 85 degrees, Low humitidy, do not use in high humitity." It is currently 46 degrees where I am and its raining. I tried to complete the mirror project anyway, but the spray seems to be staying in droplet form on the glass and not really making an even coat of paint. I am still attempting to complete the project. If it doesn't work out (which I don't think it will) I will…

So does starting your crafts two days before they are due when you need to post them early to begin with and you have never done them before seem like a good idea to anyone? Yeah...I didn't think so. I just checked my tracking confirmation with Misterart.com and my package with the much important Looking Glass Spray paint won't be in until tomorrow. I also still need to purchase the other supplies. I need a medium sized nice picture frame with glass, clear self adhesive paper, cute funky pape…

I got an email today from Leah that she mass sent to everyone (so if you happen to be reading this you got it too) and she mentioned having a craft swap day on April 5th. I replied right away and told her I thought it was a great idea and that I was in.
Yeah...only now that I am thinking about I can't figure out what the heck I am going to make and how I am going to get it done, photographed and uploaded by that date. I guess it's not really something to worry about.
