Natalie # 100

Wow... I'm the 100 member. Thank you all for letting me be a part of this group. I look forward to trading with everyone and am excited for an excuse to make more crafts. My husband is sick of triping over all of the boxes in the basement but I just can't give up crafting. Continue

DoodleDee As the year is winding down...

I really can not believe 2007 is almost gone. It flew by faster than I care to realize this year. I found this site by way of Dooce, aka Heather Armstrong. If it had not been for her honest, forthright, intellegent blogging I don't know that we (da family) could have made it without killing each other. I just became an Aunt lastnight for the 15th time and have 3 more due up by April! So I guess it is time to dust of the laurels I've been sitting in and get busy. I could use any new and creati…

Okwes Comming back soon....

I haven't forgotten this site. I still love the idea, and i wish i had taken part in some of the craft events. I've just been having alot of issues going on (deaths in the family, etc), so i'm a wee bit de-motivated right now.

Got an order on a purse for a friend, so hopefully that kicks me in gear! Continue

Okwes Hi! New!

I stumbled across this site and automatically thought it was awesome! I'm glad there is something like this.

However... i don't know what to put up. I sew things here and there, and i do basic crochet, and i do leatherwork, but I don't know what types of crafts to put up. I will think of things. I have a purse or two that haven't found homes for yet. They look lonely, and I'd like for people to enjoy them instead of sitting in my closet in sealed bags, lol.

Cindi Ann Lawson Just opened...

My very own Etsy shop. We'll see how it goes, but everyone has been telling me forever that I need to do this. Here's the link....

Abigail Grace Creations

I kind of like the idea of trading more than selling. I'm learning there are so many crafts out there I know nothing about!

Cindi Ann Lawson Another New Baby Tile....

Today I worked on another "new baby" tile for a friend from a scrapbooking site I belong to. We have a Random Acts of Kindess Group that I am a part of, and everyone in the group had been counting down the days until the baby arrived. I had so much fun creating with the picture of the little one she shared with us. I tend to gravitate toward "girly" colors and embellishments, and a baby girl is the perfect subject.

I've been working on my "… Continue

Dora Renee' Wilkerson My first post!

Hello!

This is my first post. I am excited about this site. I love the idea behind it. I sure hope it grows and grows in size.

Ok, I am not sure just how you know what people want to trade. I am guessing that it's the pictures that they post. If, so great. I'll get started in uploading some more here soon.

I am a craft junkie that needs to slow down a little (and start working out more.) I'll never stop making things though. I do most of my crafts with my children and the…

Angela Swap Package

Since I had such little items, I created a swap package that consists of 2 Hamburger lunch bag packages (5 lunch bags in each), 2 Doggy Bags (5 lunch bags in each), 2 Thank Mew Cards, 2 I Embrace Only You Cards (black), 2 I Embrace Only You Cards (Brown), 5 Funky Fish Magnets, 1 Racoon Felt Accessory and a cute felt pom pom bow that can be reused! I guess this package is probably worth about $30-$35. I hope someone likes my creations. :) I posted individual photos as well as a photo of everythin… Continue

Angela Leftovers

I hate to say I am swapping leftovers but that's what it feels like. They aren't really leftovers. I started to craft a while back and was going to sell them under the business name Isle Nine Designs. Just never did anything with them! Hope nobody minds. I keep telling myself that one day I will finish that website but who has time? Anyway, I have lunch bags, magnets, cards and a few other things I am currently working on. I love a good swap! Madeleine Oooh! Arrrr....(maybe)

Well, I'm afraid I've been rather lax on the old craft-making front, having made a total of zilch crafts. That's right, you heard me folks, zilch, nada, not a single button. I would love to sit here and think up a bunch of excuses such as but I have a 3,000 word essay due in next week and I've only written a bit, or the fact that I'm planning a wedding, and looking at pretty pictures is pretty distracting, but there's no one that could back me up on that that you'd believe. So here's a link t… Continue

Tamara Leeper my craft for trade

I don't have any photos up yet but just wanted to write out what I have up for trade...

Hot/cold rice packs for sore muscles and achy joints. They are made in various sizes and can be microwaved 1-3 minutes for a heating pad or placed in the freezer overnight for a cold pack. You can choose from unscented, lavender, eucalyptus/ rosemary, or a grapefruit scent.

As Leah would say "Let's Trade!"

Angela Craft Swap Day

This weather is not good for crafting. The special spray paint I bought says, " Ideal Conditions: Well ventilated area, 50 - 85 degrees, Low humitidy, do not use in high humitity." It is currently 46 degrees where I am and its raining. I tried to complete the mirror project anyway, but the spray seems to be staying in droplet form on the glass and not really making an even coat of paint. I am still attempting to complete the project. If it doesn't work out (which I don't think it will) I will…

Angela Tuesday it begins

So does starting your crafts two days before they are due when you need to post them early to begin with and you have never done them before seem like a good idea to anyone? Yeah...I didn't think so. I just checked my tracking confirmation with Misterart.com and my package with the much important Looking Glass Spray paint won't be in until tomorrow. I also still need to purchase the other supplies. I need a medium sized nice picture frame with glass, clear self adhesive paper, cute funky pape…

Angela Ready To Get Started

This morning I was watching the DIY Network while getting dressed for work and I saw a really great easy to do craft. It's a monogrammed mirror made from a glass picture frame. It was beautiful and I wanted to make one for myself. A few moments later I realised it would be perfect as part of my offerings for the craft exchange day.

I won't be able to really monogram it since I won't kno… Continue

Angela A little excited and a little nervous

I got an email today from Leah that she mass sent to everyone (so if you happen to be reading this you got it too) and she mentioned having a craft swap day on April 5th. I replied right away and told her I thought it was a great idea and that I was in.

Yeah...only now that I am thinking about I can't figure out what the heck I am going to make and how I am going to get it done, photographed and uploaded by that date. I guess it's not really something to worry about.

ByJane Almost ready...sorta

After whining in a majorly way in my blog about my lack of shall-we-call it Product, I think perhaps I may have broken through somewhat (can you believe all the modifiers there?). I have ideas. They are being executed. And--o, joy--they are (some of them) about to be completed. Do not bate your breath, however; creating mediocrity takes time....
